RCJ (Metal Finishers) Ltd was established in 1982 by Ron Mayhew. Originally called W.Horwood and Son, which we believe was the one of the oldest plating companies in London, founded in 1919. Ron joined the company after the War in 1948 and is still involved in the day to day activities after 61 years.
RCJ is a family-run company with 9000 sq foot premises based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, managed by John Mayhew, Ron’s youngest son. We provide electroplating and metal finishing services to:- Engineering, Architectural, Retail, Interior Design, Electronics and Restoration Service sectors. We also manufacture light metal work.
